Cultural and Linguistic Competence Self-assessment for Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Programs

This webinar was cosponsored by the National Center for Cultural Competence and the National Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Resource Center. Both programs are funded through cooperative agreements with the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Health Resources and Services Administration, US Department of Health and Human Services.  The presentation is designed to discuss the concepts of cultural and linguistic competence as they apply to the FIMR process and to review the benefits, principles and potential approaches to cultural and linguistic competence self-assessment that are appropriate for FIMR programs.  The webinar also discusses the Cultural and Linguistic Competence Organizational Assessment Instrument (CLCOA) for FIMR programs.
