Leadership Academy

Application Process and Application

This Leadership Academy is designed for individuals with a variety of roles and affiliations throughout the intellectual, developmental and other disabilities network who are currently or interested in assuming leadership to advance and sustain cultural diversity and CLC. Participants should be prepared to engage in self-reflection and introspective work required by this course and be prepared to put their leadership commitment into action when they return home. The Leadership Academy will use an application and selection process that maximizes the diversity of the participant cohort. All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee.

Our ideal candidates are those who can describe the challenges and opportunities faced in promoting cultural diversity and advancing and sustaining CLC in the intellectual, developmental and other disabilities network, and who are committed to grow in their leadership to achieve this goal. In addition, it should indicate support for the individual applying for this Academy. The letter of support can be submitted with your application or separately to Donna Deardorff at Donna.Deardorff@georgetown.edu no later than December 7th 11:59 pm.
